About the Hub
Our mission is to establish Abu Dhabi as the premier hub for collaboration among scientists, doctors, researchers, and counselors, all working in service of advancing disability research and support. Research activities and initiatives focused on promoting
inclusivity, diversity, and accessibility in the research process and outcomes. Disability Research Hub may involve conducting research that specifically addresses issues related to underrepresented groups, advocating for inclusive research
methodologies, or promoting diversity and equity in research settings. It emphasizes the importance of ensuring that research is accessible and beneficial to a wide range of individuals and communities, regardless of their background,
abilities, or characteristics.
The Significant
The value of research lies in the benefit it holds for improving our lives in its different disciplines. We acknowledge this value and the impact research reflects on the society; hence, the Disability Research Hub acts as a tool to instill research culture,
encourage knowledge-sharing and shed light on of disability research in different disciplines. In addition, the platform grants potential research fellows access to previous research to aid their journey and support learning.
